A Deep Dive Discussion into Ethics

In January, academics and executives met in South Florida for a day of discussion on current ethical topics in financial services at the annual James A. and Linda R. Mitchell American College Forum on Ethical Leadership in Financial Services. This invitation-only event is sponsored by The American College Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics in Financial Services, and is designed to bring together practitioners from financial services companies and business ethicists from academia to discuss key issues facing the financial services profession and to examine the ethical dilemmas executives encounter and the questions ethicists raise in academic environments.

In attendance was Bev Kracher, PhD, who is the Robert B. Daughtery Chair in Business, Ethics and Society at Creighton University. Kracher is also CEO and executive director of the Business Ethics Alliance. Read Kracher’s take on the event in this post from Creighton University.
